NEC Approved Carpet Tape
The new official NEC approved carpet tape from BOMA. An exhibition-grade double-sided floor tape, best known for its highly visual ‘NEC Approved’ design. NEC tape is used for securing temporary floor coverings to exhibitions halls and venues around the world. Its differential adhesive (low-tak on one side, high-tak on the other) makes it the ideal tape for temporarily securing carpets and floor coverings to hard floors. Furthermore, the low-tak side remains peelable after use making it quick and easy to remove from most floors. In contrast, the high-tak side securely holds onto most temporary floor coverings including carpets and vinyl.
Low-tak adhesive underneath
A low-tak adhesive on the underside (the side exposed as you peel it off the roll). This lighter adhesive allows the tape to be easily removed after use, leaving minimal (if any) residue on most surfaces*. It's this removable quality that many of the major exhibition centres and venues favour.
High-tak adhesive on top
A strong adhesive on the top side (the side exposed as the release liner is removed) provides a firm hold onto a wide range or carpets and floors coverings.
Temporarily secure floor coverings at exhibitions and events
The combination of a low-tak and high-tak adhesive makes this tape ideal for securing temporary floor coverings at exhibitions and events. The low-tak side is easily removed after use, and the high-tak provides a secure hold onto most carpets and vinyl floors coverings.
